Easy setup, quick results

Needed better client onboarding. Tried Ignition's free trial. It was easy to set up proposals and engagement letters. Clients paid faster. Big improvement for my workflow. Definitely recommend it.

Worth the annual subscription

I was looking for a new system to manage client onboarding and saw Ignition offered a 14-day free trial. That was enough to see if it fit my needs. I compared it to a few others, and while it wasn't the cheapest upfront, the features seemed strong. I opted for the annual billing to get the discount, which made the cost much more reasonable per month. It feels like a good investment for the automation it provides. The automated billing alone will save me hours, so I think it's good value.

Good for proposals and payments

I signed up for Ignition mostly for the proposals and automated billing features. The setup for my first few clients was straightforward, and the proposal templates saved me a ton of time. I connected it with my Xero account, and that integration works well; invoices flow over without issues. My clients have found the payment portal easy to use, which is a big plus. I did have a question about customizing an engagement letter, and support got back to me within a few hours. Delivery, in terms of getting the service running, was quick after the trial. Overall, it's been a solid tool for my practice.

Does Ignition work with QuickBooks Online? I need something that talks to my current setup.

C Carly 3 months ago
It sure does. That's one of their main integrations, super smooth too.

Yeah, QBO and Xero are definitely supported. Saves so much time not having to double enter stuff.

is ignition secure for payments? i'm nervous about client data.

N Neil 2 months ago
I've been using it for over a year, no issues with payment security. They seem pretty on top of it.

They handle a lot of sensitive info, so I'd hope it's secure. I think they use standard encryption and stuff. Haven't heard of any breaches afaik.

Thinking of signing up for Ignition. Do they still do the free trial thing or did they stop that?

P Paula V. 3 months ago
Yeah, they totally do! I just started one last week, still 14 days free to play around with it.

I'm looking at Ignition and GoProposal. Has anyone tried both? What's better?

M Mike 2 months ago
I switched from GoProposal to Ignition. Ignition's billing automation is way better for me, and the proposal templates are more flexible.

GoProposal is good but I found Ignition's client onboarding flow much more seamless. Especially if you use Xero or QBO a lot.

Are there any discounts for annual billing or is it pretty much the same price as monthly?

O Omar Hughes 3 months ago
Definitely cheaper to go annual. I think it's like 20% off compared to paying monthly.

Yep, huge discount for annual. It's one of the main ways to save money besides a referral code or partner link.
